Our Story

We didn't find it.
So we built it.

1.8 billion Muslims in the world. Zero electrolyte brands built around our traditions, our ingredients, our values. Ihya exists because we got tired of waiting.

The Problem Nobody Talks About

Walk into any supplement aisle. Pick up any electrolyte packet. Read the label. Sucralose. Artificial dyes. Synthetic flavoring. Ingredients sourced from who-knows-where with certifications that mean nothing to us.

Now try to find one that's actually halal-certified. Not "halal-friendly." Not "we think it's fine." Actually certified by a recognized body. With ingredients you can trace back to the Sunnah.

You won't find it. We looked.

إِنَّ لِجَسَدِكَ عَلَيْكَ حَقًّا
Your body has a right over you. — Sahih al-Bukhari

This Hadith kept coming back. It's one of those lines that sounds simple but keeps unfolding. Your body has a right over you. Not a suggestion. A right. And the Prophet ﷺ didn't just tell us to take care of our bodies — he showed us exactly which ingredients to use.

The Ingredients Were Always There

Black seed. Ajwa dates. Raw honey. Salt. These aren't trends. They're not superfoods discovered by a wellness influencer in 2024. They've been recommended for over 1,400 years.

What changed is the science. Modern research keeps validating what was prescribed in the Sunnah. Thymoquinone in black seed is a documented anti-inflammatory. Ajwa dates have unique cardioprotective phenolic compounds. Raw honey has antimicrobial properties that processed honey loses. The data confirms the tradition.

So the question became: why isn't anyone building with these ingredients?

786

In Arabic numerology — Abjad — the letters of "Bismillah al-Rahman al-Rahim" sum to 786. Muslims write it at the top of letters, contracts, new beginnings. It's how you start something with intention.

When we were finalizing the sodium content, we landed on 786mg. Not because of a clinical guideline. Because every serving should begin with Bismillah — not just in spirit, but in formula.

That's when we knew this wasn't just another supplement brand. This was something different.

What Ihya Means

إحياء — Ihya — means revival. Bringing back to life. It's the title of Imam al-Ghazali's masterwork. It's also what this product does: it revives your body with the ingredients your tradition already prescribed.

We're not trying to reinvent hydration. We're trying to remember what was already perfect.

The Journey

From Idea to Formula

The Question

Why doesn't this exist?

Searched every electrolyte brand online. None halal-certified. None using Sunnah ingredients. The gap was obvious.

Research

Prophetic Medicine meets clinical literature

Studied 200+ papers on thymoquinone, Ajwa date phenolics, raw honey bioactives. The Sunnah ingredients hold up under peer review.

Formulation

786mg of Bismillah

Built the electrolyte base with clinical dosing. Landed on 786mg sodium — the Abjad value of Bismillah. The formula locked itself.

Manufacturing

Finding the right partner

Reached out to manufacturers across the US, Malaysia, and Turkey. Required: IFANCA halal certification, cGMP, and ability to source every ingredient to spec.

Now

Building the Revival

Finalizing production of our flagship Mango Honey flavor. Waitlist is open. The first batch is coming.
